Tasmania Birchs Bay Cherries is a family-owned orchard with roots tracing back to 1926.
Our southerly location provides the perfect climate for cherries to enjoy a longer growing season, resulting in exceptional sweetness and flavour.
For nearly a century, we have remained true to our philosophy of natural cultivation — no chemical ripeners, no preservatives — ensuring every cherry is pure, healthy, and full of nature’s goodness.
Nestled in the stunning coastal hills just 40 minutes south of Hobart CBD, we are proud to be the only cherry orchard with a breathtaking sea view in the Greater Hobart Region. Each year, we host a range of agri-tourism experiences that celebrate the best of Tasmanian nature, food, and lifestyle.

At Birchs Bay Cherries, we’re not just growing fruit — we’re growing connections, memories, and joy.
We’re proud to be the first farm in Tasmania to introduce both the Cherry Tree Adoption Program and the Cherry Blossom Festival, creating experiences that connect people with the beauty of nature and the charm of cherry life.
Each year, we host a variety of seasonal experiences that bring our community and visitors together to celebrate the rhythm of the orchard.
