  • When and where can buy your cherries?

    Our season is normally from early January to early February. We have farm gate pop-up store for Tasmanian residents. Please keep an eye on our social media accounts (see page footer).

  • What is your specific location?

    3644 Channel Hwy, Birchs Bay TAS 7162, or simply just enter Birchs Bay Cherries on Google Map.

  • What size, grade and varieties do you have?

    We have both domestic and export grade from small to jumbo size of 26mm-34mm. The most popular varieties are Van, Lapin, Simone, Sweet Georgia and Sweetheart. Size and varieties vary with ripening season.

  • What size of package box do you have?

    We have 2kg package box and 1kg package box (1kg size is special edition only for domestic market during new year period).

  • Do you deliver fresh cherries?

    Unfortunately we don’t provide delivery service(Cherry Jam excluded). The nearby Woodbridge Auspost is 2 mins drive. You can buy our cherries and deliver by yourself.

  • Do you have other products besides fresh cherries?

    We produce limited Handmade Cherry Jam and Cherry Aperitif every year. They are all sourced from our fresh cherries. Please contact us to learn more if you are interested in them.

  • How to buy cherries outside Tasmania or overseas?

    Our domestic markets include Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Gold Coast… We also export our cherries to China mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, Malaysia… Please contact us if you are keen to be one of our partners.

  • What treatments do you use to keep cherries fresh?

    All cherries off trees are immediately treated with cooling water and then detected by optical grading machine and qualified inspectors before cold-chain transportation. Direct flight will be prioritised to ensure fastest delivery. We never ever apply any preservatives to extend shelf life.

  • Do you have any food or export certificate?

    We registered Freshcare Food Safety and Quality Certificate annually. We are registered grower and packing shed for export with strict export audits annually. Phytosanitary Certificate and Certificate of Origin will be provided for export markets.

  • How to participate your events?

    Some of our events have been suspended due to pandemic impact. Any updates will be posted on our social media accounts (see page footer).

  • What are "甜心湾"  and "甜心灣"?

    They are the translation version as registered trademark of Birchs Bay Cherries for Asian countries promotion. Anyone without authorised use of our trademark shall be prosecuted.
